FOR THE GUESTS
As this is a very special day in our lives we would love to see all our guests looking as gorgeous and dashing as the Bridal Entourage. :) Our theme has an oriental fusion, but we don't expect you to wear your cheongsams or kimonos. (But it would most definitely add to the flavor of our Zen inspired venue.)
For the ladies, may we suggest cocktail and evening dresses. We would love to see you too don your long party dresses for the night! If you have been thinking when would be the next time you'll wear the lovely dress you wore on your prom, or your company dinner & dance, or in one of the weddings you've attended to, this could be the best chance! :) Below are some ideas:
For the men, Barongs are definitely welcome! We believe that the men of the entourage are not the only ones who should look dashing that day. All our other guests as well. :) Make this another opportunity for you to be able to wear the national suit that has been hanging on your closet for years.
If Quentin Tarantino could pull it off (he's wearing a barong above), why couldn't you?
- SLIPPERS/FLIP FLOPS (even if they were havaianas, ipanemas or spartans)
- SPORTS SHOES/TENNIS SHOES/RUBBER SHOES (We won't be having a sports fest this time around)
- SANDOS/SINGLETS (if our wedding's a swimming party/ or one at the beach, this could be "appropriate")
- SHORTS/CLAMDIGGERS (for the same reason as with the sandos/singlets)
- JEANS (even if they are embellished with swarovskis, or may have come from True Religion, Seven for All Mankind, Juicy Couture, or were made by Victoria Beckham or by Viktorino Caluza (Viktor Denim http://viktordenimrepublik.blogspot.com/) please skip it just for a day)
- T-SHIRTS (even if they're armanis or versaces, we would still prefer seeing you in other outfits other than this staples)
